This scholarship was formed to honor the late Marine Corps Base Hawaii's Education Services Officer, Loretta Cornett-Huff, for her 20 years of service and dedication to the educational success of Marines and their spouses. It may only be awarded to a new student in his or her first term, and it is only awarded one time per recipient.
Award Amount
$700 to be used in 1st session of enrollment only.
Eligibility
Applicants are required to be an active duty Marine or Marine spouse who is not eligible for Tuition Assistance or Veterans Benefits
Applicants must be new students to Wayland Baptist University
Applicants must be fully admitted to the university
Applicants must be considered at least a part-time student
Applicants must be in good academic standing (if transferring credit)
